How much does awake liposuction cost?
answered by Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD, Jonesboro.
The cost of awake liposuction depends on how many areas are treated and how much work each one needs, so we quote it in writing at your consultation rather than publishing a number.
At Lux Lipo in Jonesboro, Arkansas, the quote is written down before you decide anything, and it covers the plan your physician recommends for you, not an average. There are three ways to pay: an in-house payment plan you complete before your procedure date, or financing through Cherry or PatientFi. The Cost & Financing page has the detail, and the procedure itself is on the awake liposuction page.
Here’s exactly what happens at a first visit — and you can come and see the place before you book anything.
A number without a plan is a guess.
Two people asking for the same area often need different amounts of work. One has a small pocket under the navel; another has the lower abdomen and both flanks. Both would describe it as “my stomach”, and the two plans are nothing alike.
Quoting before a physician has examined you would mean quoting for somebody else. So the honest thing a web page can do is explain what moves the number, and leave the number itself to the consultation.
Areas, time, and what goes with it.
The biggest factor is how many areas are treated. The abdomen with the flanks is a different plan from the abdomen alone, and a plan for the thighs and arms is different again.
The second is how much work each area involves, which is mostly a question of time. The third is whether anything else is done in the same session. Where loose skin is part of the picture, Renuvion can be added to the same visit, and that is part of the quote rather than a surprise later.
The last is whether the plan is split. There is a safe limit to how much is done under local anesthetic in one session, so larger plans are spread across visits, usually three to six months apart.
You leave with it on paper.
A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. You describe what is bothering you. A physician examines the area, only if you agree to it. You are told what the options are, what each involves, what the recovery looks like and what it costs, in writing, before you decide anything.
Then you go away and think about it. You do not have to decide on the day. Ask when you book whether there is a consultation fee and whether it is credited against treatment, because that is confirmed by the clinic rather than published here.
One of them is ours.
The in-house payment plan is the simplest: you pay it off in instalments directly to the clinic, and your procedure is scheduled once the balance is settled. There is no lender and no application.
If you would rather have the treatment first and pay afterwards, we work with Cherry and PatientFi. You apply directly with either one, and applying does not commit you to treatment. Which one you use has no effect on what your physician recommends. Cosmetic treatment is generally not covered by insurance.
Ask what the number includes.
If you are comparing clinics, compare plans rather than headline figures. Ask whether follow-up visits are included, because review appointments are part of the treatment, not an extra. Ask what happens if the result is uneven and who pays for a touch-up. Ask who is actually performing the procedure, and how many they do in a month.
A low number for a vague plan is not a saving. It is a different plan.
The same quote wherever you live.
Cost depends on the treatment and the plan, not on where you live. Our clinic is in Jonesboro, about 30 minutes from Paragould and about 25 minutes from Trumann, and people come from across Northeast Arkansas for the consultation alone before deciding anything.
If you are travelling, you can have the consultation and the procedure on different days, and most people do. The full detail on payment is on the Cost & Financing page, and the procedure is on the awake liposuction page.
Cost is quoted in writing at your consultation.
Cost depends on the treatment plan you and your physician settle on, so we quote it at your consultation rather than guessing here. We offer financing.
We see patients from Jonesboro, Paragould and across Northeast Arkansas, and some travel from the Missouri Bootheel.
