Firmer skin, without going under.

Morpheus8 is radiofrequency microneedling: it works below the surface to firm and smooth, on the face and on the body.
Morpheus8 is radiofrequency microneedling that treats skin tightening and texture on the face and body, delivered as a series of sessions rather than a single visit. It is often used as a follow-on after liposuction, to firm and smooth an area once the fat has been removed. It is done at Lux Lipo in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and cost is quoted at your consultation.
Here’s exactly what happens at a first visit — and you can come and see the place before you book anything.
Microneedling with radiofrequency behind it.
Standard microneedling makes tiny channels in the skin to prompt it to repair itself. Morpheus8 does that and adds radiofrequency energy below the surface, so the effect reaches deeper than needling alone and works on firmness as well as texture.
It is used on the face and on the body. On the body it is most often discussed as the step after liposuction: the fat is gone, and the skin over it can be firmed and smoothed.

Texture and firmness, not volume.
This is probably you if skin has lost some of its tone, if texture has become uneven, or if you have had liposuction and want the skin over the treated area refined once everything has settled.
It suits people who would rather build a result over a series of appointments than have a single procedure.
This probably is not you if the problem is fat rather than skin, which is a liposuction conversation, or if the skin is genuinely loose rather than lax, where a same-session treatment like Renuvion or a surgical option may be the more honest answer.
A series afterwards, or one session with the lipo.
Both address skin, and they are not interchangeable.
Renuvion applies helium-plasma energy under the skin during the same session as your liposuction. One visit, one recovery, and it suits laxity that is already obvious.
Morpheus8 is a series of sessions afterwards, working from the surface down. It suits refining texture and firmness once the area has settled, and it does not require you to decide on the day of your procedure.
Microneedling is the same idea without the RF.
If your concern is surface texture rather than firmness, standard microneedling does the needling without the radiofrequency, as a shorter and simpler appointment. It can be combined with PRP or PRF.
Morpheus8 is the option when you want the energy to reach deeper than needling alone. More about microneedling.
Exosomes after treatment.
An exosome add-on can be applied after Morpheus8, in the same way PRP or PRF is used with standard microneedling: the needling has just opened the skin, so material applied on top is absorbed more readily. Whether it is worth adding in your case is a conversation at your consultation rather than a default.
Numbing cream first, then heat and pressure.
Numbing is applied before treatment. Most people describe heat and pressure with a prickling sensation, more noticeable over bony areas than fleshy ones.
Afterwards the skin usually feels warm and looks flushed, like mild sunburn.

“From the moment I arrived, Jessica and Emma made me feel completely comfortable. They took the time to explain the process, answer all of my questions, and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. The treatment itself was much more comfortable than I anticipated.”
“Best thing I have ever done for myself. I love my results. The doctors are great, super down to earth. Perfect experience across the board.”
“I have been highly impressed with Lux Lipo. Everyone there is amazing! Very thankful for them! 10/10 recommend!”

What happens, in order.
-
A consultation, where your skin is assessed and the number of sessions is planned.
-
Numbing is applied and given time to work.
-
The handpiece passes over the area, delivering microneedling with radiofrequency below the surface.
-
Aftercare, and the next session at the interval your physician sets.
Flushed for a day or so.
Expect redness, warmth and some swelling, most obvious in the first day or two, and a rougher texture as the skin repairs.
Sun protection matters afterwards. Your physician gives you the specific aftercare and the interval before the next session rather than us publishing a number here.
Built over a series, seen over months.
Morpheus8 works by prompting the skin to remodel itself, which happens gradually. Results build across the series and continue after the last session rather than appearing on the day.
It firms and smooths. It does not remove fat, and it does not do what a surgical lift does. Individual results vary.
Cost is quoted in writing at your consultation.
Cost depends on the treatment plan you and your physician settle on, so we quote it at your consultation rather than guessing here. We offer financing.
We see patients from Jonesboro, Paragould and across Northeast Arkansas, and some travel from the Missouri Bootheel.
What to weigh up.
Common and temporary: redness, swelling, warmth, pinpoint marks and dryness while the skin repairs. Less common: prolonged redness, infection, changes in pigment (more of a consideration in darker skin tones), or a result that is more subtle than you hoped.
Tell your physician about your skin history and any pigment changes you have had before, because that affects whether this is the right treatment and how it is set up.
A physician oversees the treatment.
Every Morpheus8 treatment at Lux Lipo is performed by Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD, a physician member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

What is Morpheus8?
It is radiofrequency microneedling. Tiny needles create channels in the skin and radiofrequency energy is delivered below the surface, so it treats firmness as well as texture.
How many sessions will I need?
It is sold as a series rather than a single treatment. The number and the interval are set at your consultation, and we do not publish an average because it depends on your skin and the area.
Is it the same as microneedling?
No. Standard microneedling does the needling without the radiofrequency. Morpheus8 adds energy below the surface so the effect reaches deeper. Microneedling is the simpler option where texture is the only concern.
Should I have this or Renuvion after liposuction?
Renuvion happens in the same session as your liposuction and suits laxity that is already obvious. Morpheus8 is a series afterwards and suits refining the skin once the area has settled.
Does it hurt?
Numbing is applied first. Most people describe heat, pressure and a prickling sensation, more noticeable over bony areas.
How long is the downtime?
Expect redness, warmth and swelling that is most obvious for a day or two, with the skin feeling rough while it repairs. Your physician gives you the specifics and the sun-protection advice.
What does it cost?
Cost depends on the area and the number of sessions, so we quote it at your consultation rather than guessing here. Financing is available.
