- First 24–48 hrsFluid drains from the small incision sites. It looks like more than it is, and we tell you exactly what to expect before you go home.
- First weeksBruising fades, soreness eases. Numbness in the area is normal — sensation usually starts coming back within a few weeks.
- 1–3 monthsAs swelling resolves you start seeing the contour rather than the recovery. This is when most people stop thinking about it.
- 3–6 monthsAssessed once healing is complete. Fat cells removed are gone for good; keeping the result depends on how you live. This is contouring, not weight loss.

Will I be asleep?
No. Our body and intimate procedures are done under local anesthetic with you awake, so there is no general anesthesia and no hospital stay.

How soon can I go back to work?
Most people are back to desk work within a few days, with swelling settling over weeks. Your physician gives you the real numbers for your plan.
