Dryness, laxity, and the discomfort nobody mentions.
in Jonesboro, AR.

FormaV is an internal radiofrequency treatment aimed at tissue tightening and comfort. No surgery, no general anesthesia.

FormaV is a non-surgical internal radiofrequency treatment that gently heats vaginal tissue, aimed at tissue tightening and comfort. It is done in the office at Lux Lipo in Jonesboro, Arkansas with no general anesthesia, and cost is quoted at your consultation.

01 — What it is

Radiofrequency, applied internally.

FormaV uses radiofrequency to warm the vaginal tissue in a controlled way. The heat is the treatment: it is aimed at tissue tightening and at improving comfort, and it is delivered internally by a small applicator rather than by any cutting.

It is not surgery, there is no incision, and there is no general anesthesia. It is an office appointment.

It is one of three device treatments we offer in this area. VTone works the pelvic floor muscle for leaking, Aviva remodels the labia, and FormaV addresses the tissue itself.

02 — Is this you?

If things feel different than they used to.

Probably you

This is probably you if you have persistent dryness, if sex has become uncomfortable when it did not used to be, or if things feel looser or less responsive than they did before childbirth or before menopause.

Probably not you

It suits women who want to address the tissue itself rather than the muscle or the appearance, and who would rather not have a procedure that involves cutting.

This probably is not the right starting point if the main problem is leaking, which is a muscle question and points to VTone, or if the appearance of the labia is what bothers you, which points elsewhere. It is also not the right starting point if you have pain, bleeding or a discharge that is new, because those need assessing first.

03 — What it feels like

Warmth, and a private room.

Most women describe a comfortable warmth rather than pain, and the applicator is small. It is an unfamiliar sensation before it is an unpleasant one.

The room is private, you are dressed from the waist up throughout, and you can ask to stop at any point. Nothing is photographed.

04 — How it works

What happens, in order.

  1. A private consultation: what you have noticed, how long it has been going on, and what has already been tried.

  2. An assessment, so the symptom is properly characterised before anything is treated.

  3. The treatment itself, delivered in the office as a short appointment.

  4. A course rather than a single visit, because tissue responds gradually.

  5. Review, so progress is measured against what you described rather than an average.

05 — How many sessions

A course, and then a conversation.

FormaV is delivered as a course of appointments rather than a single visit. How many, and how far apart, is set at your consultation.

We do not publish a session count or an interval on this page. The honest number depends on your assessment, and a figure that is not about you is not information. Ask at your consultation and we put it in writing.

06 — Results

Gradual, and measured by comfort.

Tissue changes gradually rather than on the day, so this is judged over the course and afterwards rather than immediately. The useful measure is comfort: whether dryness has eased, whether sex is comfortable again, whether you have stopped working around it.

Individual results vary, and your physician will tell you what to expect in your case rather than quoting an average.

Cost & financing

Cost is quoted in writing at your consultation.

Cost depends on the treatment plan you and your physician settle on, so we quote it at your consultation rather than guessing here. We offer financing.

We see patients from Jonesboro, Paragould and across Northeast Arkansas, and some travel from the Missouri Bootheel.

07 — Risks, plainly

What to weigh up.

This is a non-surgical treatment, so the risks are modest: temporary discomfort, irritation, swelling or sensitivity in the treated area.

The more important consideration is the diagnosis. Dryness and discomfort have several causes, including hormonal ones, and a device does not fix a hormone problem. If what you are describing points to menopause or to a skin condition such as lichen sclerosus, we will say so and treat that instead.

This page is general information, not advice about your own health. Call the clinic on (870) 230-0844 to talk about your situation.

08 — Who performs it

A physician assesses you first.

Every FormaV treatment at Lux Lipo is performed by Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD, a physician member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

09 — Before you choose anyone

What to ask any provider, including us.

Useful questions anywhere you go: what do you think is causing my symptoms, and how did you decide? Is this a tissue problem, a muscle problem or a hormonal one? How many sessions, and what happens if it does not help? What are the alternatives, including doing nothing? Who handles the follow-up?

Be wary of anywhere that offers a package before it has assessed you, and of anywhere that treats dryness as purely cosmetic.

10 — Getting here

Rare in the region.

We are at 3800B S Caraway Rd in Jonesboro, and women travel to us from across Northeast Arkansas and the Missouri Bootheel, including Paragould, Trumann, Walnut Ridge, Newport, Corning, Blytheville and Batesville, and from Kennett, Sikeston and Poplar Bluff in Missouri.

Because this is a course rather than one visit, tell us at your consultation if you are travelling and appointments can be spaced to suit the drive.

11 — Before & after

Nothing to photograph.

There are no before and after photographs for this, and there should not be. The measure is comfort, which is what we ask you about at review.

Before & after

We show before-and-after photographs in person.

Every photograph we publish is published because a patient signed a written release, and most people would rather we did not. At your consultation the physician will show you pairs that match your own body and the treatment being discussed — which is more use to you than a page of strangers. Individual results vary.

If you’re here about something private

Nobody has to know you came in.

A lot of what we treat — dryness, leaking, discomfort, how things look — people don’t say out loud, even to their doctor. These pages exist so you can get an answer without asking a person. When you’re ready, this is what a visit looks like.

01

You never have to say it out loud. Book online and pick a consultation — you don’t have to explain anything to anyone at the front desk. The first person you discuss it with is the physician.

02

A private room, and a physician in it. A physician examines you and answers your questions — not a coordinator. Bring someone with you or come alone — whichever makes it easier.

03

You can stop at any point. A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. Plenty of people come in, ask everything, and decide not to do anything. That’s a fine outcome.

04

Your file is your file. HIPAA applies to everything here. No photo of you is ever used anywhere without your written consent, and you can withdraw it later.

12 — Questions

Asked at the desk, answered here.

Medically reviewed by Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD. If yours is not here, call (870) 230-0844 and ask — nobody will try to book you for asking a question.

What is FormaV?

It is a non-surgical internal radiofrequency treatment that gently heats vaginal tissue, aimed at tissue tightening and comfort. It is delivered in the office with no cutting and no general anesthesia.

Does it hurt?

Most women describe a comfortable warmth rather than pain. It is an unfamiliar sensation before it is an unpleasant one, and you can ask to stop at any point.

Is FormaV the same as VTone?

No. VTone works the pelvic floor muscle and is aimed at leaking. FormaV treats the tissue itself and is aimed at dryness, laxity and comfort. Some women are assessed for both, and your physician will tell you which applies.

How many sessions will I need?

It is a course rather than a single appointment. The number and the interval are set at your consultation, and we do not publish an average because it depends on your assessment.

Will it help with dryness caused by menopause?

Dryness has several causes, including hormonal ones, and a device does not fix a hormone problem. If your symptoms point to menopause, that is the conversation to have, and we can treat it directly rather than around it.

Is there any downtime?

It is a non-surgical office treatment. Any specific restrictions afterwards are given to you by your physician at the appointment rather than published here.

Is it private?

Yes. The room is private, you are dressed from the waist up throughout, you can bring someone with you, and nothing is photographed.

What does it cost?

Cost depends on the course you and your physician settle on, so we quote it at your consultation rather than guessing here. Financing is available.

Come in.
Or book ahead.

A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. We'll tell you honestly what's realistic for you.
