Working under local anesthetic changes the visit. Diluted local anesthetic is placed into the area rather than putting you to sleep, so there is no general anesthesia and no hospital admission. You can talk to us while we work, tell us if something is uncomfortable, and go home the same day.
It also changes the conversation beforehand. We would rather tell you that a treatment is not right for you than sell you one that is. Liposuction is contouring, not weight loss, and we will say so.

Every procedure at Lux Lipo is performed by Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD, a physician member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Vaibhav Desai, MD
Dr. Desai founded Lux Lipo and performs most of the body contouring and intimate wellness work at the clinic. He trained in cosmetic procedures in Florida and Arizona, practices medicine in Florida and Arkansas, and holds licenses in Texas, Tennessee and Missouri. He is a physician member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
He moved into aesthetics for the artistry of it. The goal is a result that looks like you on a good day, not like you had something done. At your consultation he will tell you honestly whether what you want is achievable.

Dr. Rohit Chug, MD
Dr. Chug does most of the fat transfer work at Lux Lipo. Fat transfer is two procedures in one: liposuction takes fat from somewhere you do not want it, and it is purified and placed where you do. That covers breast enhancement without implants, filling hip dips, and fat transfer to the vulva, all using your own fat, so nothing foreign goes into your body.
He trained in cosmetic procedures in Florida and Arizona, and practices medicine in Florida and Arkansas.
Fat transfer is as much judgment as technique: how much to place, where to put it, and how it will look once it settles. Results vary from person to person. At your consultation he will tell you what is realistic for your body.
